The Raging Elk Hostel was estalished 6 years ago as an international travellers haven. We take pride in not just advertising unbelievable facilities but actually having them. We like to offer our guests lots of space, comfort and a memorable experience. The Raging Elk has been quoted as the 'blue print for all hostels in BC'.

We have a fully loaded communal kitchen and comfortable, spacious recreational areas, surrounded in rocky mountain log decor. A theater style TV room, wood sauna, massuse room, ski tuning room and secure ski and bike storage. You can Skype your friends from our internet terminals.

Our rooms are very clean, confortable and secure. We cater to the individual traveller right through to large groups of friends, families and couples. Dorm Room - We have 4,6,8 and 10 person dorm rooms available. All have lockers under the bed and lots of space. The showers for this area are shared but private. Semi-private & family room - A semi private room has three single beds and 1 double bed in it. Lockers are underneath each bed and the room has an ensuite bathroom. Private room - This room is motel style at a backpackers price. The room has 1 single bunk and 1 double bunk, TV, fridge and ensuite bathroom. Outdoor Areas - Our whole bulding is surrounded by mountains so you will be guaranteed a mountain view. Our large front patio and back patios capture the morning and afternoon sun, enjoy panoramic mountain views while sipping a morning coffee or enjoying an afternoon barbecue. We have a wood barbeque and a great social fire pit. Firewood is complimentary.
